Hello

I am an artist and illustrator living in Lincoln, UK.

 

I rediscovered my love of drawing in my late twenties after a long period of not drawing at all. My confidence got the better of me when I was younger and I instead pursued a career in youth work. Today, I still work with young people and draw whenever I can.

When I started to draw again, I initially picked up where I left off... literally. I drew wildlife at school with coloured biros and I went straight back to this. Finding comfort and joy in the familiarity; I created a product range from my delicate, woodland drawings and sold them online and at craft fairs. Examples of this work are in the photo gallery below.

In 2020, I diversified and established the brand 'Card & Cake.' This light hearted, digitally designed, greetings card range is available to buy through online greetings cards companies: Thortful, Scribbler and others.

​

Following a natural desire to develop and experiment with my hand drawn style, I have explored looser line work. Today, I create contemporary, mixed media art. Inspired by interiors, flowers and texture; I am working with colour in a way that I never have before. This new chapter is fresh and exciting.
